Green Room - We're Going Green!

The Loudoun Summer Music Fest is going green!
We are putting lots of new procedures in place to help save the planet. Here are a few ways you can help too...

1. Take a mug with you. Certain coffee shops let you get your java in your own mug and some even give you a discount!
   
2. Turn the light off when you leave the room. You don’t need to see what’s in the room if your not there...
   
3. Get some reusable shopping bags. They’ll make you look cooler than the person with 85 non-recyclable bags - plastic or paper!
   
4. Save electricity by using less heat or A/C. Get a ceiling fan, a blanket or someone to snuggle up against.
   
5. Buy food from your local farmer’s market. You’ll... have less waste, eat less pesticides, and local farmers will smile at you.
   
6. Think before you throw something away. Can it be recycled, can you use it for something else, or will someone else love your junk?
   
7. Cut down on driving by combining errands. You’ll be on the road less reducing the chance for road rage - what could be better!?
   
8. Buy other people’s stuff. Not only will you save the planet - you’ll save money! Use those savings to buy more tickets to the Loudoun Summer Music Fest!
